PRETORIA: Spain set up a second-round date with Iberian neighbours Portugal, while Chile scheduled one with their fellow South Americans Brazil in the Fifa World Cup 2010.

Needing a win to qualify to the knock-out stage, Spain shot into lead against Chile with a long-range strike from striker David Villa in the 24th minute.

Play-maker Andres Iniesta slotted home the second from inside the box to consolidate their lead 13 minutes later.

Striker Rodrigo Millar, who came on in the second half, scored in the 47th minute for Chile.
